About the poems:

I write a daily poem using words from the New York Times crossword puzzle. My poems follow a 3-part form starting with words from the across clues, continuing with words from the down clues, and ending with words from the answer grid (these parts are indicated in the poem by the words “across,” “down,” and “answers” in brackets). The titles of my poems are composed of words from any area of the crossword puzzle.
